From the Warden’s of St Thomas

Dear parishioners of St Thomas,

Father Allen Doerksen and the wardens of St. Thomas — Jennifer Gagne and Jan Guretzki — have been consulting with Archbishop Melissa Skelton. In light of the developments in the Covid-19 pandemic, the wardens and Fr. Allen feel it would be prudent (though sad!) to cancel in-person Sunday services for at least three Sundays.

That means no service on Sunday March 15, (i.e., this Sunday coming up), Sunday March 22, and Sunday March 29.
Attached you will find the bulletin for this Sunday. In addition, you may find comfort in the prayers, attached, compiled by Richard Leggett for use in times such as these.

Father Allen and the Wardens are working on a way to at least have the sermon available in auditory and possibly visual form. Stay tuned as we attempt to provide some aspects of a “virtual worship experience.”

Father Allen will be at St Thomas at the usual time on Sunday morning, should anyone come by who may not have seen this email, or who simply want to wave “Hi!”

Comments, suggestions, observations can be emailed to the office or to Father Allen.
